Josephine - Thanks for dropping by and happy new year to you too. I've tried making curry puff once and it was a failure. At the moment, I'm researching for a new recipe and I'll definitely post it once I get it right. Stay tune!

Hi piggy and friends,
I've actually tried aunty yochana 'sweet potato curry puff' and it turned out like those that I bought from the malay stalls, which is crispy and delicious. I changed the fillings to sardines and potato instead of sweet potato and add in hard boil eggs.

Follow closely to the recipe and do not attempt to add extra water though the dough appear to be little dry at first. I made this twice, one using mixer and the other by hand. I find that the batch using mixer yields better result and a lot easier.

My children adore this recipe because at last they can eat the whole curry puff without having to throw away the spicy fillings. Of course, you can add whatever you want, I'm going to add tuna next time.

Thanks for the info, I have checked into aunty yochana's recipe but I prefer to bake instead of fried. According to aunty Yochana that her recipe cannot be baked, so I guess I still have to search for the bake style.
