I've mentioned before that my hubby loves all sorts of cookies. So I think he must be very happy with the the recipe chosen for TWD this week, as I made not one but two batches of biscotti!
The first batch was made with ground cardamon, orange zest and pistachio, and the biscotti turned out ok. Then I continued with another batch using sliced almonds and wheat germ but somehow I think I've overworked the batter, as it spread out quite a bit during the first bake. The difference in the shapes of both batches is quite obvious in the picture too.
But the biscotti still tastes great nonetheless! If you want to give the recipe a try, head over to Gretchen's blog!
