The recipe chosen for TWD this week is fold-over pear torte. My version is not exactly "fold-over", as I only have a 8-inch springform pan at home and I can't possibly bake such a large torte for two persons. So I made 1 quarter of the recipe using two mini tart pans. After filling the tart with the pear and walnut custard, I improvised by placing pieces of cut-out dough on the edges of the tart pans. The pear torte is best eaten warm and it is really delicious! This is yet another recipe from the book that I'll definitely make again!

Oh may god! out of all the versions this one is the prettiest yet! Love it as a mini version, you can actually change the filling and make them even more interested... due to tons of work, I was unable to make it, but it's going on my do list.
