TWD is having recipe rewind again this week, and I took the opportunity to bake apple-coconut family cake, which is a recipe that I missed out earlier this month due to my busy schedule. I'm glad that I chose this recipe as my last TWD challenge for 2010. I love having fruits in my desserts and so this recipe is a winner for me. It smells and tastes really great!

Interesting combination. I absolutely love coconut cake but I have never heard of nor tried apple coconut cake. Now I am curious. Later this week on my blog I will post one of the easiest cake recipes I have come across, and its for coconut cake which I will have for NY eve:)
How coconutty was it?
I'm not a fan of that, so that is one of the reasons I didn't make it.
A moist and delicious cake! i made it once and it was fabulous.
Cheers,
Rosa
I also missed that recipe. Had surgery instead. But it looks delicious and is on my short list. Have a Happy New Year.
This is one of my favorites. If, I did not have recipes to catch up on, I would have gladly made this. Yours looks delicious and I know it is.
This one was a winner. Beautiful photo! :)
I love cake with fruits too! This is such a great afternoon tea cake!
This was one of our favorites from Dorie. Glad you liked it.
Definitely worth repeating - often..
